The reverse features two winged victories holding a wreath at whose center is a prayer for the ruler: vot v mvltx.Loosely translated, it asks for prayers on his 5th anniversary and more for his hoped-for 10th anniversary.
e size of this beautiful Double Centenionalis makes the perfect showcase in an Ancients collection. Issued for a short time only before being outlawed by Constantius II, it survives today thanks to the Bridgnorth Shropshire Hoard. With fewer than 10 pieces in stock, you’ll want to get yours now.
