1806 Draped Bust Half Cent, Small 6, Stemless

The 1806 Draped Bust half cent is a prized copper coin from early America. The 1806 half cent comes in 3 varieties, due to differing sizes of the "6" in the date, as well as the presence or absence of stems in the wreath on the reverse. The Stemless 1806 Small 6 half cent features a "6" that is smaller than, as well as misaligned with the "180" (the 6`s were hand punched onto dies already prepared with "180" for use in various years. In addition, the wreath does not feature stems that extend beyond the bow.
