Here`s a genuine 1870 Liberty Seated silver dollar for your collection! Designed by Christian Gobrecht, this 90% silver coin was struck well over a century ago by the Philadelphia Mint. The obverse features Liberty seated on a rock, framed by 13 stars. She holds a shield with her right hand and a pole with a liberty cap in her left. The reverse depicts an eagle perched on an olive branch and holding three arrows. Above the eagle is a banner with the motto in god we trust, which was added in 1866.
