1922 $50 Gold Certificate

More than 65 years ago, this $20 note was "as good as gold!" You could turn it in and get back gold coins. The face shows the portrait of Ulysses S. Grant plus distinctive gold seal and serial numbers. The engraved back is orange-gold. Speelman-White signatures.
