1942-D Mercury Dime, Full Bands

Struck in 90% silver at the Denver Mint, the 1942 Mercury dime is a precious keepsake from America during the Second World War. The U.S. Navy experienced success against the Imperial Japanese Navy in 1942, in the Coral Sea and at Midway Island. American forces under the command of General Dwight Eisenhower seized control of French North Africa.
