Customer Reviews
Although many coins do not carry the Crown denomination, collectors tend to label them as such because of their size. The name "Crown" refers to any piece 33 mm in diameter or larger, and weighing more than 20 gm. Crowns are popular because they are big and heavy, almost the size of a traditional U.S. silver dollar. Plus, they offer a variety of collecting possibilities, including famous people, places and events, yet remain very affordable. These crowns are minted in cupro-nickel and are in Uncirculated condition.
