2021 Niue 1 oz. Silver $1 Ships of War - USS Texas

The popular Ships of War series continues with the USS Texas! Commissioned in March 1914, at the time, the Texas was the world’s most powerful weapon. She made advances in gunnery, aviation and radar that were innovative for the era, and remains the only battleship still in existence that served in both World Wars. The Texas stands to this day as a memorial in San Jacinto – and now, she’s honored in rich color on the reverse of this 2021 Brilliant Uncirculated coin.

Measuring just over 1 1/2" in diameter, each dramatic coin in the series is struck in 1 oz. of 33.3% silver. Issued as $1 legal tender for Fiji, the coins in this series are strictly limited in mintage to just 999 pieces – and are available exclusively through Littleton. Each reverse is colorized with a piece of licensed artwork. The common obverse depicts Queen Elizabeth II.
